Byron is the CEO & President of Mission to Children, a Christian charity that he has been with for over 23 years. He has a passion for gospel-centered friendships to make Christ known globally, which is why he’s excited to be part of the KC4K advisory team.
He graduated from Biola University with a BA in Intercultural Studies (1998) with an interdisciplinary in Business. After graduation Byron went on a missions trip to Romania for three months, team-teaching English as a second language at a Baptist church in Sibiu. Following Romania, Byron led an evangelism team to Alkmaar, Holland for another three months. Upon return to the USA, Byron gained professional experience working for a nationwide publishing company on a web team that built online curriculum for schools. In the evening, he lived and volunteered at a residential tutoring center as way of outreach to Hispanic youth through the local church. God orchestrated these life-learning experiences to impress upon Byron the essentiality of Scripture, the local church, and investing in kingdom-minded relationships.
Byron and his amazing wife live in Riverside, California. They enjoy life with their three wonderful daughters and gospel-centered community with their local church.
