Warren Fassbinder
My work lives at the intersection of technology, ministry, and nonprofit service. I help churches and community organizations use websites, digital infrastructure, and creative tools to communicate more clearly, serve more effectively, and advance the message entrusted to them.
More than anything, my life is centered on spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ: that God sent His only begotten Son for our salvation, and that through His atoning sacrifice for our sins, we are offered forgiveness, redemption, and eternal life in Him.
God Bless You
Ephesians 1:7
“In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;”
This is the clearest verse in Ephesians connecting Christ’s blood directly with our forgiveness of sins.
Ephesians 2:13
“But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.”
This shows that those who were once far from God are brought near by the blood of Christ.
Ephesians 2:14-16
“For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:”
This passage expands the same truth: through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, we are reconciled to God.
Ephesians 5:2
“And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.”
This does not use the word “blood,” but it speaks of Jesus giving Himself as the sacrifice for us.
Ephesians 5:25-27
“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.”
This shows Christ’s love for the church in giving Himself for her, cleansing and sanctifying her.
The key verse to memorize is:
Ephesians 1:7
“In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;”
Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
Ephesians 2:10 KJV
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
